AGRIBALKAN 2022 will be held on August 31 – September 3^rd, 2022 at the Balkan Congress Center, Edirne, Turkey in honor to the 40th anniversary of Trakya University. The format of the congress will be hybrid one, with both, in-person and virtual participation. 

4^th BALKAN AGRICULTURAL CONGRESS will be organized by Trakya University with support of Trakya Universities’ Union, Balkan Universities Association, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University (Turkey), Çanakkale Onsekizmart University (Turkey), Uludag University (Turkey), Agricultural University of Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Trakia University, Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), Democritus University of Thrace (Greece) and with contribution of other Balkan Institutions.

The first AGRIBALKAN Congress was organized in 2014, in Edirne, Turkey, with over than 700 participants. In 2021, due to pandemic limitation, the third Congress was organized as virtual event, in which took part more than 40 countries, 1000 authors, and more than 400 papers were submitted.

Our congress is a premier international science, technology and business forum focusing on Agriculture. The technical sessions will highlight keynote and invited speakers and volunteer oral and poster presentations.

With care for our nature and environment, we aim to make the Congress green one, using as little as possible paper. Abstract book will be published as electronic book and will be distributed to the participants on flash memory stick as well as by e-mail for online participants. All the posters should be prepared in electronic form and submited via the conference web page. The e-posters will be presented in electronical poster boards, in the Congress center, as well as in online e–poster section in the Congress web page.

Each participant could submit up to two papers with one paid participation fee.

The congress is going to be an international event and as such it   meets the criteria of Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK) both for Associated Professor and for  Academic Promotions for Turkish academicians. 

Upon your request, the full papers will be published in Full Paper Congress Proceeding Book or International Indexed Scientific Journals based on your preferences.

Our Congress Abstract and Full paper Proceeding Book will be published in CAB Abstracts after the congress.

The virtual participants, with paid conference fee, will be able to access all the presentation talks in each session, as well as to visit the virtual poster hall via preliminary provided participant ID and codes. All virtual participants will receive participation certificates and a copy of Conference Abstract and Proceedings Book, which will be send as PDF file via e-mail.

The attendees will have ample opportunities for learning, reconnecting, engaging and networking with colleagues from academia and industry as well as meeting with various exhibitors.

The official language of the conference is English but Turkish and French are acceptable for presentations. However, please keep in mind that all the submitted abstracts and full papers must be in English only.
